The following deaths have occurred:-
James Adams, 33 Tobermore Road, Desertmartin
The death has taken place of James Adams, 5th August 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 33 Tobermore Road, Desertmartin, James, dearly beloved husband of Chirstine, much loved and devoted father of Fiona, Ruth and Sharon, dear father-in-law of Robert, Laurie and Stuart, also a loving grandfather, great-grandfather and dearest brother of Fred, Robin, Keatley and Trevor. House strictly private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Sunday evening (August 6) from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral service in Magherafelt Independent Methodist Church on Monday (August 7) at 1:30pm followed by burial in Lecumpher Presbyterian Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Margaret Friel, 79 Central Drive, Creggan, Derry
The death has taken place of Margaret Friel, 5th August 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, Beloved Daughter of the Late Lily and Dan Loving Sister of Bobby, Jim, Ann, Mary Jo, Patricia and the late Dan, Hunter, Phil, Michael and Baby Martin. Much loved Aunt to all her nephews and nieces. Funeral from her home 79 Central Drive, Creggan on Monday at 11.30am to St Marys Church, Cerggan for requiem Mass at 12.00pm. Kathleen Harrigan (née Watson), 58 Kylemore Park, Derry
The death has occurred of Kathleen Harrigan (née Watson), 3rd August 2023, peacefully at Edenvale Care Home, loving mother of James, devoted grandmother to Rebecca and Matthew, dear mother-in-law to Anne. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and the entire family circle. Kathleen will be reposing at her home, 58 Kylemore Park on Saturday, 5th August from 4:00 p.m. Funeral leaving her home on Monday, 7th August at 9:20 a.m. to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
Letty Moore, 17 Kiltinny Road, Dundooan, Coleraine
The death has occurred of Letty Moore, 5th August 2023, (peacefully) at hospital, 17 Kiltinny Road, Dundooan, Coleraine, dearly loved wife of Tom, much loved mother of Tommy, Cecil, Deirdre and Mavis, mother-in-law of Margaret, John and Ronnie, a devoted granny, great-granny and beloved sister. Service in her home on Tuesday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Coleraine Free Presbyterian Church Buryng Ground. By her own request, house strictly private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for NICHS c/o Mrs Mona Murdock, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family and entire family circle. At home with the Lord.
