Bridie Burns (née Mullan), Culmore Road, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Bridie Burns (née Mullan), October 5 2024, beloved wife of the late Seamus, formerly of Culmore Road, loving mother of Paul, Mark and Carol, mother-in-law of Miriam devoted grandmother of Tom, James, Peter, Tara and Michael, dear sister of Kathleen and a much loved auntie. Her remains will be reposing in her son’s home, 5 Thornhill Park from 12.00pm on Sunday. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.25am for 10o'clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 12noon. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers if wished to Friends of Altnagelvin (Ward 26). Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Joan Crossan, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Joan Crossan, October 4 2024, peacefully at Culmore Manor, beloved daughter of the late Patrick & Bridget Crossan, formerly of Knockwellan Park and Harvey Street. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU on Sunday from 3.30pm – 5.00pm. Her remains will then be removed to St Columb’s Church Chapel Road, for Requiem Mass there on Monday at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Donations in memory of Joan can be made to either Wateraid or The Rainbow Rehoming Centre, Eglinton. The Lord is my shepherd.
Irene Lindsay (née Kennedy), 7 Tivoli Park, Foyle Springs, Derry
The death has occurred of Irene Lindsay (née Kennedy), October 4 2024, Peacefully at home. Beloved Wife of the late Christopher and Loving Mother of Claire, Joanne, and the late baby Jonathan. A much loved Grandmother and Mother-in-law. Dear sister of the late Hugh, Jackie, Gerald and Brendan and Dear sister-in-law of Isobel. Funeral from her home, 7 Tivoli Park, Foyle Springs on Monday, October 7 at 9:30am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Beloved wife of the late Mickey Lynch R.I.P. and cherished mother of Clare (Joe), Bridie R.I.P. (Sheamus), Clement (Siobhan), Patrick (Sharon), Ann and Mary (Tim) Dear sister of Lizzie, Bridie, the late Mary and Freddie R.I.P. Devoted granny of Garrie, Tracy, Michael, Conor, Joanne, Niall, Orla R.I.P., Donna Maria and Oonagh. A loving great granny. Reposing at her late home, 64 Tireighter Road, Park BT47 4BD.
