The following deaths have occurred:-
Sarah (Elsie) Coulson, 4 Tirkeeran Road, Garvagh
The death has occurred of Sarah (Elsie) Coulson, 16th May 2023, peacefully at her home, 4 Tirkeeran Road, Garvagh, dearly beloved wife of the late Bob and loving mother of Janice, Terence, Gail, Barbara, Gillian and the late Kay; also a loving mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral Service in St. Paul’s Parish Church, Garvagh, on Friday at 2.00pm, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. House private. Family flowers only. James (Jimbo) Crossan, 100 Woodbrook, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of James (Jimbo) Crossan, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin hospital on 16th May 2023. President of The AOH - Board of Erin and former player and manager of Derry City FC. Late of 100 Woodbrook and formerly of 2 Hamilton Street. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Nora. Devoted father of Seamus, Maraide, Liam, Anne, John, Karen, Martin, Joan, Barry, Elaine and the late Brenda. Loving granda and great-granda to all of his grandchildren. Dearest brother of Jobby and the late Eddie, Mary, Harry, Ron, Liam and Patsy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Jimbo’s remains will be reposing at his daughter Anne's residence, 3 Lenamore Park. Funeral leaving from there on Friday, 19th May at 9.20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Mary Smith, 34 Littlebridge Road, Coagh
The death has taken place of Mary Smith, 16th May 2023, (peacefully) at home surrounded by her loving family, Miss Mary Smith (former principal of Lissan Primary School), dearly beloved daughter of the late Francis and Isabel Smith and sister of the late Fr. Brendan, Kevin and Sheila R.I.P and much-loved sister of Dympna, Colum and Peter. Funeral from her home at 34 Littlebridge Road BT45 7XX to The Church of St Malachy and St Joseph Drummullan for 11.00am Requiem Mass on Friday, 19th May. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass will also be streamed via Church Webcam link - https://coaghanddrummullan.com/live-stream/. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing brothers, sister, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law and wider family circle.
