The following deaths have occurred:-
Kenneth Alexander Brown, Macosquin
The death has taken place of Kenneth Alexander Brown, 19th November 2023, (peacefully at home, Ardverness Cottage, Cashel Road, Macosquin). Much loved husband of Gloria, dearly loved father of Nicola and Cheryl, father-in-law of Raymond and Anthony, grandfather of Dillon, Chloe, Emma, Isabella and Emily-Rose and brother of Valerie. House Private. Funeral Service in St. Mary’s Church, Macosquin, on Sunday at 1.30pm, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only. Bernie Campbell (née Doherty), 7 Fern Park, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Bernie Campbell (née Doherty), 22nd November 2023, at Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 7 Fern Park. Beloved Mother of Fiona, Sean, Geraldine and Conor. Much loved Grandmother of Clara, Ryan, Kayla and Koen.
Dear Daughter of the Late Eddie and Kathleen, Sister of Hughie, Margaret, Marie, Eileen, Ann and the Late John, Eddie and Michael. House Private to Immediate Family only please. Funeral from her home on Saturday, 25th November at 11.00am to Lakeland’s Crematorium, Co Cavan for cremation at 2.00pm. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all her family and everyone that knew her. Sacred heart of Jesus has mercy on her soul. Our lady of knock pray for her.
Margaret (Margie) McAdams (née Buggy), 4 Barry Street, Derry (formerly Coolock, Dublin 5)
Margaret (Margie) McAdams (née Buggy), 21st November 2023, late of 4 Barry Street, Derry and formerly Coolock, Dublin 5. Passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving daughter's Sarah, Sinead and Kirstie. Adored nanny to Leon, Kennise, Kian, Lochlann, Éireann, Finn, Lillie and Max. Deeply missed by her daughter's partners Seán, Seamus and Katlyn. Lovingly remembered by her brothers Brian and Pat. Cherished by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. A Funeral service for Margie will take place on Saturday, 25th November at 2.00pm in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please.
Alec Park, 44 Heron Way, Derry
The death has taken place of Alec Park, 22nd November 2023, peacefully at his home, 44 Heron Way, loving father of Wendy and Chris, devoted grandfather of Aaron, cherished brother of Lilian and a dear and loving uncle. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. Alec will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Funeral leaving Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Friday at 9.20am to St. Columb’s Church, Chapel Road for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery Ardmore. The death has taken place of May Porter (née O’Donnell), 22nd November 2023, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late Andy, loving mother of Barbara, Pius, Phil, Seamus, Liam, Bernie, Lynn and the late Maureen, Anne and Eddie, a devoted granny, great granny, great-great granny and mother-in-law, cherished sister of Claire and all her deceased sisters and brothers, a dear aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle. May will be reposing at her home, 30 Brookdale Crescent. Funeral leaving her home on Friday, 24th November at 9.00am to St Joseph’s Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 9.30Am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has taken place of Reggie Quigley, 21st November 2023, (peacefully) at hospital, 33 Girona Avenue, Portrush, dearly beloved husband of the late Rachel (Ray), loving father of Allison, Linda and the late Gary, dear father-in-law of Geoffrey and Angus, devoted granda of Daniel, Chloe, Leah, Jack, Stevie and Madison and dear brother of Carolyn, Sheila and the late Anne, Madeleine and Charlie. Service in Ballywillan Presbyterian Church on Saturday at 1.00pm followed by interment in Ballywillan Cemetery. House private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for R.N.L.I. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Friday at 12.30pm for 1o’clock service in Glendermott Parish Church. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Eric Wright, 57 Elaghmore Park, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Eric Wright, suddenly on 20th November 2023. Late of 57 Elaghmore Park. May he rest in peace. Loving husband of Rita. Devoted father of Ciaran, Aisling, Gareth, Nicole and Alex. A much loved father-in-law of Paul, Grainne and Conor. Loving granda of Calum, Jayden, Alayah, Aodha and Lochlain.
