The following deaths have occurred:-
Thomas (Tommy) Boucher, 12 Scroggy Close, Limavady
The death has taken place of Thomas (Tommy) Boucher, 1st February 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Margaret RI.P., loving father of Margaret, father-in law of Keith, a much loved grandfather of Megan, Aaron and Oisin. Dear brother of Kathleen McManus, Isabell McLaughlin, and the late Minnie, Sonny, Bob, James and baby Jacob. R.I.P. Deeply regretted by his partner Helen Doherty and all the family circle. Private family time from 10.00pm to10.00am Please. Funeral from his home, 12 Scroggy Close, Limavady on Friday at 9.25am for Requiem Mass at 10.00am in St Mary’s Church Limavady, followed by interment in adjoining Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Thomas Conaghan, 8 Carnhill, Derry
The death has taken place of Thomas Conaghan, 29th January 2023, (suddenly) at home. Beloved husband of the late Frances and loving father of Alison and Peter. Dear grandfather of Daithí a d Eilidh. Dear brother of Pauline, Pat, Catherine and the late Mary, Artie and Barnie. Funeral from his home, 8 Carnhill, Derry on Thursday, 2nd February 2023 at 10.30am to Saint Brigid's, Carnhill for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Interment immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his soul.
Raymond Alexander McGarrigle, 76 Herron Way, Clooney, Derry
The death has occurred of Raymond Alexander McGarrigle, 1st February 2023, (peacefully) at his home, 76 Herron Way, Clooney (surrounded by his loving family in his 69th year) much loved husband of Dorcas, devoted father of Ray, Rochelle, Joanne, Gordon and Marian, loving father-in-law of Alan, adored granda of Alison, Hayden, Nathan, Bobby, Blake, Emily, Mason, Lacey and Charlie, dear brother of Noel, Maurice and the late Leslie and Jim. Service of Thanksgiving in his late home on Saturday, 4th February at 12.00noon followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to Foyle Hospice c/o Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ. Very deeply regretted and will be lovingly remembered by his entire family circle. To know him was to love him, to live in the hearts of those we leave behind is not to die.
Rosemary Macari (née Cassidy), 41 Maybrook Park, Derry
The death has taken place of Rosemary Macari (née Cassidy), 1st February 2023, (peacefully) at Ardlough Care Home beloved wife of the late Leo, dear mother of Louie, Philomena, Carla, Nicholas, Louisa and Mario, mother-in-law of Patricia, Liz, Seamy and Fiona, a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother and dear sister of Margaret, Peter, Francie, Charlie and the late Tony and John. Funeral from her home, 41 Maybrook Park, on Saturday at 12o’clock for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Marian Quigley (née Kelly), 18 Montrose Gardens, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Marian Quigley (née Kelly), (peacefully) at Altnagelvin hospital on 1st February 2023, late of 18 Montrose Gardens. Devoted mother of Emmett, Christopher and Aaron. Loving granny of Dylan, Ronan, Kaíson, dearest mother-in-law of Bernadine and Nadine. A much loved sister of Via, John, Kathleen, Peggy, Philomena, Martin, Christine and the late Michael, Terry, Josephine and Jean. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Marian's remains will be reposing at her son Aaron's residence, 12 Drumkeen Park, Coshquin. Funeral leaving from there on Friday, 3rd February at 11.20am for 12.00pm Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Margaret Caroline (Car) Smyth (née Donnelly), 17 Killane Park, Ahoghill
The death has occurred of Margaret Caroline (Car), Smyth (née Donnelly), 30th January 2023, (peacefully) at The Macmillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital, 17 Killane Park, Ahoghill, dearly beloved wife of the late William John (Bill) and a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. House strictly private. Funeral service in the Funeral Home on Thursday, 2nd February at 12.30pm, followed by burial in Lecumpher Presbyterian Churchyard at 1.15pm (approx.). Lovingly remembered by the entire family circle.
