Dorothy Margaret (née McCausland) Britton, 3 Duncastle Park, Newbuildings
The death has occurred of Dorothy Margaret (née McCausland) Britton, 3rd May 2023, (peacefully) at her home, 3 Duncastle Park, Newbuildings, (surrounded by her loving family) much loved wife of the late Joseph (Joe) and the late Freddie Allen, devoted mother of Trevor, Fred and Caroline, loving mother-in-law of Vivienne and Kathleen, adored granny and great-granny, dearest sister Violet. A Service of Thanksgiving for her Life in her late home on Friday, 5th May, at 12noon followed by burial in Mountcastle Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to Cancer Research U.K. c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director, 24A, Church Road, Altnagelvin, Derry BT47 3QQ. Dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her entire family circle. Gods garden must be beautiful he only takes the best.
Elizabeth Patricia (Patsy) Cairns, 20 Ardnabrocky, Fincairn Road, Drumahoe
The death has taken place of Elizabeth Patricia (Patsy) Cairns, 3rd May 2023, (peacefully) at Culmore Manor. Formerly of 20 Ardnabrocky, Fincairn Road. Dearly beloved Wife of the late Thomas and a loving Mother of Liz, John, Linda, Thomas, Caroline and the late Baby Joseph. Mother-in-law of Sandra, Darren and the late Hugh and Gordon. A devoted Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. A Funeral service will take place in her late home on Friday, 5th May 2023 at 12noon followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if wished to Christ Church c/o Miss R Wilson, 8 Richmond Crescent, Derry BT47 3PR. Patsy will be sadly missed by her entire family circle and friends. Annie Teresa McCardle, Tirglassan Road, Claudy
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Annie Teresa McCardle (peacefully) at Brooklands Edenballymore Lodge on 2nd May 2023. May she rest in peace. Late of Tirglassan Road, Claudy, Co Derry. Beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Philip R.I.P. Loving sister of Celine and the late Pat, Mary, Philip and Francis R.I.P. Deeply regretted by her loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and the entire family circle. You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, BT47 4NQ) today (Thursday) 4th May from 6.00pm to 7.00pm. Leaving the funeral home at 7.00pm to repose at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Foreglen. Requiem Mass will take place there on Friday, 5th May at 11.00am. Majella McElhinney, 42 Whispering Pines, Limavady
The death has occurred of Majella McElhinney, 30th April 2023, beloved partner of Neil Moroney, 42 Whispering Pines, Limavady, loving mother of Callum, cherished daughter of the late Bernard and Maud, dear sister of Tony, Ann, Ned, Brendan, Philomena, John, Cathal and Raymond, daughter-in-law of Sue and a much loved sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt. Will be missed by the entire family circle. Her remains are reposing in her brother Tony's home, 117 Meadowvale Park, Limavady. Funeral from there on Friday at 9.30am for 10o'clock Requiem Mass in Christ The King Church. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Marcus Paul (Paul) McKenna, formerly Desertmartin
The death has occurred of Marcus Paul (Paul) McKenna, 28th April 2023, Kinnegar Road, Rathmullan, Co. Donegal, formerly Antrim Town and Desertmartin, Co. Derry, April 28th, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen (Cáit Jim). Deeply regretted by his loving family, Maureen (Maynard), Paul, Pádraic and Áine, son-in-law Ivan, daughters-in-law Valerie and Orlaith, grandchildren, Laoise, Seán Paul, Maria, Aoibhín and Dana, brother Peter, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Remains reposing at his home in Rathmullan. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 4th May at 11.00am in St Joseph’s Church Rathmullan. Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on MCN Media St Joseph’s Church Rathmullan. Family time on the morning of the funeral. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
