The following deaths have occurred:-
Desmond (Dessie) Bradley, 34 Glenelly Villas Draperstown
The death has taken place of Desmond (Dessie) Bradley, lassed away peacefully after a short illness at Antrim Area Hospital on 9th September 2023. Beloved husband of Marie and much loved father of Danny, father in law of Kellie and devoted grandfather of Naoíshe. Son of the late Patrick and Susan, brother of Susan, Colm and the late Mary, Patsy, Dominic, Jim, Hughie, Annie, Mick-Joe, John, Tommy and Margaret. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, son, daughter in law, granddaughter, sister, brother, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. St Martin pray for him. house strictly private to family and friends. Reposing at home, 34 Glenelly Villas Draperstown. Funeral from there at 12.30 pm on Wednesday for Requiem Mass in St. Columbas Church Straw, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Mary (Maureen) Donaghy, 9 Killowen Court, Coleraine
The death has occurred of Mary (Maureen) Donaghy, 11th September 2023, peacefully at Causeway Hospital. Mary (Maureen), late of 9 Killowen Court, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert, much loved mother of George, Edna, Linda and Andrew, mother-in-law of Linda and Debbie, a devoted granny and great-granny. Funeral Service in her home on Friday at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Killowen Parish Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to N.I. Seamus Doran, 97 Main Street, Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Seamus Doran peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on 10th September 2023. May he rest in peace. Late of 97 Main Street, Dungiven, Co Derry. Beloved husband of the late Nancy R.I.P and loving father of Christine,, Noeleen, Helen and the late Sean R.I.P . Devoted grandfather of Nicola, Ryan, Diarmaid, Ailish, Conall, Bríd, Laura, Páraic, Cahir, Amy and Lucy. Dear brother of the late Anna O’Connor and Bernie McLaughlin R.I.P. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Reposing in St Patrick's Church, Dungiven, Requiem Mass will take place in Tuesday, 12th September at 11am. Interment immediately in the adjoining graveyard. Saint Padre Pio pray for him.
Philip Drennan, 64 Madison Avenue, Eglinton
The death has occurred of Philip Drennan, 10th September 2023, (formerly of Coleraine) beloved partner of Vivienne, loving father of Ellie, stepfather of Aodhan and Kieran, devoted grandfather of Zach, cherished son of Andy and the late Mary and dear brother of Andrew, Jackie and Richard. His remains will be reposing in his home, 64 Madison Avenue, Eglinton. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 12.30pm for funeral service at 2pm in Derrykeighan Parish Church, Dervock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family time please from 10pm to 12noon. Family flowers only please. Joan Brigid Ferry (née White), 2 Park Avenue, Derry
The death has taken place of Joan Brigid Ferry (née White), 11th September 2023, peacefully at her home, 2 Park Avenue, (Derry and Moville), beloved wife of the late William (Bill), loving mother of William, John Terence, Colum, Thérèse and Gerard, a dear and loving grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and Mother-in-law. Joan will be reposing at her home, 2 Park Avenue on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Removal leaving her home on Tuesday, 12th September at 6:10 p.m. to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Gary Edward Holmes, 171 Sperrin Park, Caw
The death has taken place of Gary Edward Holmes, 8th September 2023, suddenly at his home, 171 Sperrin Park, Caw (in his 52nd year) loving dad of Justin and Zak, dear step-dad of Lorraine, Alan and Ian, much loved son of Isobel and the late Campbell, devoted brother of Dave, Alison, Shelly, Donna, Joan, Mandy, Lisa and Iain, adored granda and a dear uncle. Gary's remains will be repose at his mother's home 195, Sperrin Park, Caw from Tuesday, 12th September, until a Service of Thanksgiving for his life on Thursday, 14th September at 12 noon, followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family time please between 8.30 pm to 11.00 am. The death has taken place of Louise McCluggage, 10th September 2023, peacefully at the Causeway Hospital. Louise, late of Hillsborough, and recently a resident in Trinity House, Garvagh. Dearly beloved wife of the late William, much loved mother of Bill, Heather, Kim and the late Kyle and a loving mother-in-law grandmother great-grandmother and sister of Tom (NZ). The death has taken place of Charles Ivor McCarter, 11th September 2023. Suddenly at his home 16 Browning Drive. Dearly beloved husband of Rachael.
