The following deaths have occurred:-
Seán Pól Boyle, 22 Farland Way, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Seán Pól Boyle, (suddenly) on 12th August 2023, late of 22 Farland Way. May he rest in peace. Loving father of Harlyn-Grace. Beloved son of Rosemary and the late Mark. Dearest brother of Nikita, Elle and Harry. A much loved grandson of Veronica and the late Harry, Bridget and Jim. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends. Seán Pól’s remains will be reposing at his late family home, 22 Farland Way. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, 16th August at 11.45am for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Mairead Doherty, Derry
The death has occurred of Mairead Doherty, 13th August 2023, (suddenly) as a result of a road traffic accident. Much loved nother of Cillian. Beloved daughter of Ann Doherty and Conor and Pamela Cassidy, loving sister of Ryan, Conor and Edwin. Loving aunt of Lennon. Dear partner of Ciaran Lynch. Funeral from her mothers home, 10 Durrow Park on Wednesday at 10.20am to St Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. The death has taken place of Áine Donaghy, 13th August 2023, beloved daughter of James and Ann, 18 Killane Road, Limavady, loving sister of James, Tiernan and Cormac, cherished granddaughter of Patrick and Geraldine Graffin and Jim and the late Monica Donaghy. The death has occurred of Linda McMullan(née Kennedy), 13th August 2023, (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, 52 Dunboe Road, Articlave, dearly beloved wife of the late Keith, much loved mother of Rodney and Alexander, dear mother-in-law of Suzanne and Nicola, devoted granny of Jacob, Christopher, Oliver and Isabelle and a loving sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Service in Castlerock Presbyterian Church on Wednesday at 3.00pm followed by interment in Castlerock Presbyterian Church Burying Ground, Downhill. Funeral Service in her late home, 73 Limavady Road at 1.00pm on Wednesday, 16th August followed by burial in St Canices Parish Church burial ground. The death has taken place of James Scullion (Lurganagoose, Lavey), 14th August 2023, (suddenly but peacefully), late of 47 Glenshane Road. Beloved husband of Mary (nèe O’Connor); loving father of Seamus, Denise (Doherty), Leona (Scullion), Carla (Duggan) and Debbie (Holmes) and a much-adored Granda. Son of the late John and Margaret and dear brother of Sr. Kathleen, Harry, Margaret, Mickey, John, Anne, Gerard, Carmel and the late Mary. St. Pio pray for Him.
