The following deaths have occurred:-
Anna Torrens Anderson (née Gilmore), 23 Lisnamuck Road, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Anna Torrens Anderson (née Gilmore), 13th January 2024, peacefully (at Causeway Hospital, Coleraine); formally of 23 Lisnamuck Road, Coleraine. Dear wife of the late Boyd, sister of Archie and mother of David, Elizabeth, Sheila, Anne and Thomas, beloved mother-in-law, granny and great granny. A service of Thanksgiving will be held in Aghadowey Presbyterian Church on Thursday, 18th of January at 2.00pm. (House private.) Thomas Barbour, 31 Anderson Crescent, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Thomas Barbour, 14th January 2024, beloved husband of Isobel, 31 Anderson Crescent, loving father of Colleen and Caitlin, devoted grandfather of Cara, Thomas, Arthur and Niamh, son of the late Maryann and David and dear brother of Johnny, Hughie and the late David. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Trench Road. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore. Family time please from 10.00pm to 10.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
John Coyle, 22 Groarty Road, Derry
The death has taken place of John Coyle, 14th January 2024, at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved son of John and Margaret. Loving brother of Orla, Conall, Kealan, Caoimhe and Niall. A much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Funeral from his home, 22 Groarty Road on Wednesday at 9.20am to St Mary's Church, Creggan for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him. Elizabeth Davidson (née Cassidy), 104 Ballynease Road, Portglenone / Bellaghy
The death has taken place of Elizabeth Davidson (née Cassidy, 15th January 2024, (suddenly but peacefully) 104 Ballynease Road, Portglenone / Bellaghy, beloved wife of Liam, much loved mother of Laoise (Mawhinney), Shaun, Majella (Wilson) and Cormac, loving sister of Eleanor (Mc Guigan), Cathy (Kearney), Kevin, Paula (Mc Atamney) and the late Siobhan (Mc Clemments) and dear daughter of the late Harry and Jeannie. NB: Elizabeth’s wake and funeral arrangements have yet to be finalised, we will update them here as soon as they become available. The death has taken place of Jeanette Dunlop (née Coyle), 15th January 2024, beloved wife of Terence, 93 Strabane Old Road, loving mother of Kiera, Nicola, Kelly, Leanne and Terri, a devoted grandmother and dear sister of Paula, Jacqueline and the late Donna. Marian Elizabeth (Martin) MacHugh, 17 Temple Park, Derry
The death has taken place of Marian Elizabeth (Martin) MacHugh, 14th January 2024, peacefully in Altnagelvin Hospital. Late of 17 Temple Park. Dearly Beloved partner of Debra. The death has taken place of John (Jonny) Moore, passed away peacefully at Rushall Care Home on 15th January 2024 in the loving presence of Ronnie and Doreen. Devoted husband of the late Nan. Dear brother of Emma, Libby and the late Sarah, Willie, Susanna, Sammy, Tommy and Norman.
