The following deaths have occurred:-
Paul Doherty, Kular Court, Derry
The death has occurred of Paul Doherty, 21st May 2023, (suddenly) at his home, Kular Court. Much loved father of Ceálach, beloved son of Michael and the Late Kathleen. Loving brother of John, Vinny, Josie, Cathy, Michael, Shauna and the Late Mary. Funeral arrangements later from his Father's home, 11 Demesne Avenue. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his soul. Our lady of knock pray for him.
Terence Doherty, 26 Little Diamond, Derry
The death has taken place of Terence Doherty, 19th May 2023, beloved partner of Philomena McQuade, 26 Little Diamond, loving father of Anna, son of the late Anne and John Doherty (Strathfoyle) and dear brother of Kathleen, Geraldine, Celine, Sean, Deirdre, Mairead and Jacqueline. His remains will then repose in his home. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Isabell McCaul, Strand Road, Derry
The death has taken place of Isabell McCaul, 21st May 2023, (peacefully) at Edenballymore Lodge surrounded by her loving family, beloved daughter of the late James and Eileen, loving sister of Manus, Sally and the late Thomas, James and John and a much loved aunt and great-aunt. Isabell's remains will be reposing in the family home, 97 Strand Road. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 12.30am for 1o'clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick's Church, Pennyburn. Donal Murphy, 3 Rotherwood Drive, Derry
The death has taken place of Donal Murphy, 21st May 2023, (peacefully) at Foyle Hospice, (formerly of 10 Grove Place), loving father of Tracey, Caóimhe and the late Daniel, devoted granda to Danny and Molly, dear son of the late Daniel and Angela, loving brother of Patricia, Delia and the late Angela and John, a dear father-in-law and uncle. Sadly missed by the entire family circle. Funeral leaving his home 3 Rotherwood Drive, on Wednesday, 24th May at 9.20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for requiem mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Eve People (née McCool), 38 Rossnagalliagh, Derry
The death has occurred of Eve People (née McCool), 21st May 2023, (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Ricky, loving mother of Paul, Kieron, Kirsty and the late Ricky, dear sister of Marie, Wilma, Liam, Lorraine, Kevin, Dermot, Ann and the late Kathleen and Brian. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle and friends. Funeral leaving her home, 38 Rossnagalliagh on Wednesday at 1.30pm to the City Cemetery for interment at 2.00pm.
