John Campbell, 37 Craigmore Road, Blackhill
The death has occurred of the late John Campbell, 21st September 2024, peacefully at his home, 37 Craigmore Road, Blackhill. John, beloved husband of the late Jean, much loved father of Pauline and Catherine, father-in-law of Steven and Robert, grandfather of Jenna, Ross, Lucy, Matthew, Mark and Adam; great-grandfather of Robert, Hailey, Dean, Sarah and Rosco. Service of Thanksgiving in St. Paul’s Parish Church, Articlave on Wednesday at 12noon, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please. Family and close friends are welcome to call at the family home on Tuesday, between the hours of 7.00pm and 10.00pm. Brian Gillespie, 6 Donal Casey Court, Derry
The death has occurred of Brian Gillespie, 23rd September 2024, peacefully at Foyle Hospice, BRIAN (late of 6 Donal Casey Court, formerly of Oakfield, Galliagh and Buncrana), beloved son of the late Eva and Tom, loving brother of Mary and the late Colm and Pauline and a cherished uncle to all his nieces, nephews and grandnieces. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed in Derry and Buncrana by his large circle of friends who looked out for him, as he did for them. Brian will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, on Tuesday, 24th September from 2:30pm to 4:30pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral leaving there on Wednesday, 25th September at 9:30am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Evelyn Gorman (née Smith), Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of the late Evelyn Gorman (née Smith), 23rd September 2024, peacefully at her daughter Donna’s home, 3 Corporation Street, loving mother of Donna, Pól, Karen and the late Eileen, dear mother-in-law to John Wray and Sharon Taylor, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and a dear and loving sister of Roy, Tony and the late Jim, Lexie, Jackie, Billy, Prindy and Jennie. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Evelyn will be reposing at Donna’s home, 3 Corporation Street on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00am to 11:00pm. Funeral leaving there on Thursday, 26th September at 9:30am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her. St. Pio pray for her.
Margaret Elizabeth McCauley (née McTaggart), 20 Carson Villas, Upperlands
We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Margaret Elizabeth McCauley (née McTaggart), September 23rd 2024, (peacefully) at The Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, dearly beloved Wife of the late John, 20 Carson Villas, Upperlands, much loved Mother of Leslie and the late Amanda and Sharon and a dear Sister and Aunt. All welcome at the Family home. A Service of Thanksgiving for Margaret's Life will take place at her home on Wednesday, September 25th at 1:30pm, followed by burial in First Garvagh Presbyterian Old Graveyard (Bridge Street) at 2:30pm (approx.). Aisling Nelis, 6 Brookdale Park, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Aisling Nelis, 21st September 2024, loving mother of Deirbhile, beloved daughter of Patrick and Colette, dear sister of Ciaron, Kevin and Melisa and a much loved niece. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 6 Brookdale Park. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
