The following deaths have occurred:-
Sheila Bradley (née Doherty), 47 Osborne Street, Derry
The death has occurred of Sheila Bradley (née Doherty), 25th December 2022, aged 93 years, beloved wife of the late Seamus, loving mother of Pauline, Colm, Joseph and Kevin, mother-in-law of Drew, Donna and Kathleen , devoted grandmother of Aisling, Mollie, Patrick, Declan, Sean, Clare, Kieran, Stephanie, Laura, Caolan, Nadine and Kara and her six great-grandchildren. Her remains will be removed from her home, 47 Osborne Street on Tuesday at 5.30pm to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 10o’clock. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. No cards or flowers please. If wished donations in lieu to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road BT48 8JE.
David (Davy) Browne, 47 Shellbridge Park, Coleraine
The death has taken place of David (Davy) Browne, 23rd December 2022, (suddenly) at his home, 47 Shellbridge Park, Coleraine, dearly loved partner of Margaret, beloved father of Sharon, Yvonne and Alan, father-in-law of Aron, Alan and Clare, beloved stepfather, devoted grandfather of Andrew, Aaron, Jamie, Lauren, Summer, Roxanne and Finlay, devoted great-grandfather of Sofia, Sienna, Jude and Lyla, dear brother of Agnes, Victor and Walter and the late Grace, Georgina, Jean and Marian, a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral arrangements later. Lovingly remembered.
Lily Elizabeth Caskey (née Crooks), 1 Hillside Cottages, Desertmartin
The death has occurred of Lily Elizabeth Caskey (née Crooks), 25th December 2022, (peacefully) at her home, 1 Hillside Cottages, Desertmartin, Lily Elizabeth, dearly loved mother of Philip, Barbara and Geoffrey, a loving mother-in-law of Joanne and the late Alan and dearest sister of Gwen and the late Kathleen. Funeral from her home on Wednesday, 28th December at 12.40pm, to Desertmartin Parish Church for service at 1.00pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Eileen Mellon (née Mullan), 5 Chapel Road, Dungiven
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Eileen Mellon (née Mullan), (suddenly but peacefully) at her home on 24th December 2022, late of 5 Chapel Road, Dungiven. Beloved wife of Colm and loving mother of Michael, Claire and Nicola, devoted grandmother of Lauren, Caitlín, Dylan, Charlie and Michael, loving daughter of the late Michael and Maryanne R.I.P and dear sister of Anna McNicholl and the late Michael and Mary R.I.P. The family home is private. Funeral leaving her late home on Wednesday, 28th December at 1.40pm for 2.00pm Requiem Mass in Saint Patrick’s Church Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Deeply regretted by all her loving family and the entire family circle. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.

The death has taken place of James (Jimmy) Moore, 25th December 2022, (suddenly) at his home, 81 Westland Road, Magherafelt, dearly loved husband of Lorna, father of Cynthia and Mervyn, step father of Willis, his wife Colleen, their family - William, Karen, Natasha and Gary and families and dearest brother of Minnie, Rita and the late Jean, Lizzie and Roy. Mary Moore (née Carlin), Derry
The death has occurred of Mary Moore (née Carlin), 25th December 2022 (peacefully) at Brooklands Care Home, beloved wife of the late Cyril, loving mother of Christine and Cyril, devoted grandmother of Caoimhe, Sean, Conan, Sarah and Jason and dear sister of the late Lily, Charlie, Hughie and Eamon. Funeral from her daughter’s home, 12 Abbott’s Walk, on Wednesday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Tommy McLaughlin, Creggan, Derry
The death has occurred in Germany of Tommy McLaughlin formerly of 39 Broadway, Creggan, Derry on 23rd December 2022, beloved husband of Marita and stepfather of Timothy and David, loving brother of Paddy, Kathleen, Margaret, Danny and Mary and the late John, Jim and Mickey. Doreen Elizabeth Wallace, Coolyvenny Road, Coleraine
The death has occurred of Doreen Elizabeth Wallce, 25th December 2022, (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, late of Coolyvenny Road, Coleraine. Dearly loved wife of the late Reginald (Reggie), much loved mother of Rhonda, Stephen, Ian, Andrew and Heather and a loving mother-in-law and grandmother. House Private. Service of thanksgiving in Macosquin Presbyterian Church on Thursday, at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please.
