We regret to inform of the death of Robert John (Robin) Bonnar, (Canada and formerly Aghadowey), 20th December 2023. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Much loved brother of Anthony, Mary Elizabeth, Margaret and the late Joe. Andrea Diamond (née Gilmour), 11a Glenvale Road, Bellaghy (updated arrangements)
The death has taken place of Andrea Diamond (née Gilmour), 30th December 2023, (peacefully at hospital),11a Glenvale Road, Bellaghy, beloved wife of Philip, much loved mother of Dylan, Molly, Kelsi, Leah, Kevin and Laura and loving sister of Margaret, Stuart, Caroline and Devina. Her remains will leave her late residence on Tuesday, 2nd January at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Bellaghy (which can be viewed via the parish webcam see link below), followed by a private family burial immediately afterwards, in Churchtown Cemetery, Tamlaght O’Crilly. NB: Family time requested please between 10.00pm and 11.00am. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughters, brother, sisters, grandchildren Anna Rose, Avah Grace and Joseph, and all the family circle. Our Lady of Lourdes Pray for her. Brian Hegarty, 51 Violet Street, Derry
The death has taken place of Brian Hegarty, 1st January 2024, peacefully at home, 51 Violet Street, beloved son of the late Gerard and Dolly, loving brother of John, Noeleen and Fidelma, brother-in-law of Jarlath, Donal and Una, a much loved uncle and great-uncle. House strictly private at present. Funeral arrangements to follow. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Nancy (Nan) Kelso, Church Park, Tamlaght O’Crilly
The death has taken place of Nancy (Nan) Kelso, 1st January 2024, (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, Church Park, Tamlaght O'Crilly, daughter of the late Annie, dear sister of Pearl and the late Willie, John, Mary and Henrietta. Service at James McMullan & Son Funeral Home, Ballymoney on Thursday at 1.00pm followed by burial in Churchtown Presbyterian Churchyard at 2.00pm. House private. Sarah Jane Leighton, Cloyfin Road, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Sarah Jane Leighton, 30th December 2023, in her 97th year, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Clairville Care Home; formerly of Cloyfin Road, Coleraine. Dearly loved daughter of the late Mary and John, dear sister of the late John and Tommy, loving aunt of Robert (Laurie), Bill (Cheryl) and nieces Mary (Gary) and Janet in Canada; and Alister in Northern Ireland. Will be sadly missed by her many great and great great nieces and nephews. Sarah is also remembered by many amazing friends and neighbours. Derry and Fohera, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim. Loving partner of Catherine Rose Crowther and dear brother of Denis, Mary (Bradley), Michael, Una (McBarron), Thomas and Daniel. Alice Towell (née Donaghey), 98 Slaughtmanus Road, Tamnaherin
The death has occurred of the late Alice Towell (née Donaghey), 31st December 2023, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved wife of John, 98 Slaughtmanus Road, loving mother of Natasha, Darren and Melissa, mother-in-law of Brian, Deirdre and Seamus, a much loved granny and dear sister of Pat, Art, Rose, Brigid, Annamarie and Jenny. Deeply regretted by all her extended family circle. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 11.50am for 12.30pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin. The death has occurred of the late Kelly Wilson (née Gray), 31st December 2023 peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved wife of Richard, 32 Coneyville, Culmore, loving mother of Jake and Noah, cherished daughter of Willie and Marie, much loved sister of William, Bryan and Judith, dear sister-in-law of Tracey and devoted auntie of Alexa, Ryan, Zoe and Emil. Her remains will be reposing in her home on Tuesday from 1.00pm - 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10.25am for 11o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn.
