The death has taken place of the late Doris Irene (Doreen) Caskey (née McIlvenna), December 29 2024, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, 80 Queens Avenue, Magherafelt, dearly beloved mother of Donna and Rodney, dear mother-in-law of Phelim and Shona and dearest sister of Robert, Morris, Freda, Emma, Mandy and the late Joan. House strictly private. Funeral arrangements later. Family flowers only please. William James (Jim) Dixon, Derry
The death has occurred of the late William James (Jim) Dixon, Passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on December 29 2024. Much loved husband of the late Esther and dear brother of the late Hamilton (Canada) and late Leslie (Enniskillen). House strictly private please. Funeral will leave his home on Tuesday, December 31 after a short service at 1.00pm. Followed by graveside service at Bovevagh Parish Church at 2.00pm. (All welcome) Teas will served in the church hall immediately afterwards. We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Gillian Susan Dobson (née Moore), December 30 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, (surrounded by her loving family, late of 1 Cricklewood Park, Kilfennan) much loved wife of Galvin, devoted mummy of Jenna and Katie, loving mother-in-law of Kieran and Adam, an adored granny of Robbie, Callum and Archie, beloved daughter of the late Ronnie and late Rosalie, precious daughter-in-law of Etta Dobson (late Ron), a dear sister of Heather (Lloyd), Melanie (Des), Adrian, Jacqueline (Raymond) and Glenn (Maureen) and sister-in-law of Rosaleen (late Charlie) and Joanie (Gary), a treasured auntie to her nephews and nieces. A Service of Thanksgiving for her life will take place on Thursday, January 2 at 11.00am in St Columb’s Cathedral, burial afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery. Family home is strictly private. We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Donna McConville (née O’Kane), December 13 2024, peacefully at home in Chicago, formerly of Ardmore, beloved wife of Paul, loving mother of Connor, cherished daughter of Bridget, dear sister of Kevin, Margaret, Gerard, Caroline, Neil and Tracey and a much loved aunt, niece and cousin. Donna's ashes are reposing in her mother's home, 1 Beechbrook, Ballybogie Road, Ardmore, BT47 3GT. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects there on Thursday, January 2 and Friday, January 3 from 2.00pm - 9.00pm. Requiem Mass will then be celebrated in St Mary's Church, Ardmore on Saturday at 11o'clock. Family flowers only please. Devoted father of Anne O'Doherty, Martina, Imelda McEldowney and James. A dear grandfather of Ellie, Luke, Joseph, Conan, Anthony, Deacon, Gabriel and Gemmarose. Much loved son of the late Geroge and Kathleen and brother of George, Jimmy, Fiona O’Kane, Katie Mulholland, Mary Orr, Joe and Eamon and the late Martin, Willie, Leonard, Gerard, Robert and Anthony. The death has taken place of the late Dermott O'Hara, December 29 2024, passed away peacefully at home, beloved husband of the late Rose, 199 Seacoast Road, Myroe, Limavady, loving father of Martin, Mariese and Thérèse, loving father-in-law of Helena, Pat and Sarah, adored grandfather of Paddy, Liam, Dermott, Daniel, Eunan and James, much loved great -grandfather of Dan, Tom and Edward, grandfather-in-law of Aileen and Lydia, dear brother of the late Laureen and Mina and brother-in-law of Giovanna, Seamus, Howard and the late Sally and Willie.
