We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Bernadette Farrell (née McCloskey), peacefully on June 15 2025. May she rest in peace. Late of 73 Altagarron Road, Foreglen, Co Derry, BT47 4ES. Beloved wife of the late Thomas R.I.P. Loving mother of Peter (Bernie) and Thomas (Marian). Devoted grandmother of Martin, Leeanne, Colleen, Aimee, Shane, Aisling, Patrick and John Paul and great grandmother of Mya, Kate, Lucas, Alena, Kevia, Elle, Emma, Odhran, Finn, Conall & Cora. Dear sister of Bridget, Phonsie and the late Tony, Margaret, Mary, Peter, Oliver and infants Patrick, Michael and John R.I.P. Deeply regretted by her dear friend Margaret Rose Devine, nieces, nephews and the entire family circle. Bernadette will be reposing from her late home. Funeral on Wednesday, June 18 2025 leaving her late home at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Foreglen. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Margaret Sinclair (Gretta) Hargan (née McCloskey), 74 Main Street, Claudy
The death has taken place of the late Margaret Sinclair (Gretta) Hargan (née McCloskey), June 15 2025, peacefully at her daughter Maria’s home, beloved wife of the late Vincent, loving mother of Aidan, Donna and Maria, mother-in-law of Marian, devoted and much loved grandmother of Niall, Aileen, Conor and Ronan, cherished great-grandmother of Tom, John and Daniel and dear sister of Berna Casey and the late John Joe, Maureen, Eileen, Pat, Agnes, Anthony, Noel, Gerard, Phyllis and Albert. Her remains will be reposing in her home, 74 Main Street, Claudy. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 11.30am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Claudy. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

The death has taken place of the late Mena Kearney (née Devine), June 16 2025, Peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Maghera (formerly Park, Co. Derry). Much loved mother of Aidan, Sinead (McGurk), Jarlath, Olcan, and the late baby Fiona. Devoted grandmother of Oliver, Luke, Ben, Orla, Aoife, Medb, John, Grace, Olivia and Zac. Dear mother-in-law of Kirsty and the late Colm. Daughter of the late Patrick and Susanna Devine. Sister of Mary Grant, Rose Canning, Charlie, Gerard and the late James, Frank, Margaret Norcombe, Vincent, Anna O’Connell, Bridget Lynch and Terence. Late of 25 Lower Ballyartan Road, Claudy, Co Derry. Beloved wife of the late Brian R.I.P. Loving mother of Seamus, Briege (Mike), Annette (Martin) and the late George R.I.P. Devoted grandmother of Enya, Eimer, Eoghan, Cait, Michael, Ailish and James. Daughter of the late Philip and Brigid R.I.P and dear sister of the late Michael, Teresa, Bridie, Philip and Baby James R.I.P. Very deeply regretted by the Crossan and Kerlin family circles. Beloved son of Derek and Lorna; loving brother of Damian and Garry; dear brother-in-law of Donna and Sonya and a much loved uncle and friend to many. Funeral from his late residence, 2 Seaview Drive, on Thursday at 10:30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart. Interment afterwards in Portstewart Cemetery. Funeral arrangements for the late Rosemary Price (née McAllister), died June 162025. (Brone, Garvagh), peacefully at home, loving mother of Andrew, Jacqueline and Karen and a much loved mother-in-law and Grandmother. As per Rosemary’s wishes there will be no wake. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 18 2025 at 11:30am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Aghadowey. A private cremation will take place at a later date.
