John Paul Allingham, 39B Whitehill Road, Templemoyle
The death has taken place of John Paul Allingham, 8th April 2024, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved husband of Bevin, 39B Whitehill Road, Templemoyle, loving father of Anna, Johnny and Eamon, cherished son of Theresa and the late Herrick, son-in-law of Liam and Bella O’Kane, and dear brother of George, Mary, Edward and Christopher. His remains will be reposing in his home on Wednesday from 2.00pm - 9.00pm. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.15am for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Patricia Gillen, 51 Brookhill, Culmore Road, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Patricia Gillen, died peacefully at her home on 9th April, beloved wife of Michael Barr, 51 Brookhill, Culmore Road, loving mother of Eoghan and Rory, mother-in-law of Colleen and Andrew, devoted grandmother of Oisin, Ríain, Fionan, Eibhlin, Cillian and Charlotte, daughter of the late Hugh and Lily Gillen, cherished sister of Sue, Margaret, Mary, Michael and the late Hugo and a much loved sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Her remains will be reposing in her home from 1.00pm today (Wednesday). Funeral from there on Friday at 10.50am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Cremation will take place in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Saturday. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am. The death has taken place of Raymond Harley, 9th April 2024, peacefully at home. Late of 19 Northland Way. Beloved Husband of the late Lily. Michael Dwyer Harrigan, 16 Epworth Street, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Michael Dwyer Harrigan, peacefully at Oakleaves Care Home, on 9th April 2024. Formerly of 16 Epworth Street. May he rest in peace. Dearest husband of the late Bridget. Loving father of Deborah, Mark, Michelle and the late John-Paul. A much loved father-in-law of Vinny, Bridgeen and the late Stephen. Devoted granda of Niall, Orla and Lucy. Precious Great-Granda of Casey-Rose. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends. Michael’s remains will be reposing at his daughter Deborah's home, 3 Demesne Gardens. Sheila McColgan (née Clifford), 13 Abbots Walk, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Sheila McColgan (née Clifford), 8th April 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of Nadine and the late Seamus and Shaun, devoted grandmother of Ciara, Erin, Jade and Dean and great-grandmother of Sean, Cory and Sophie and a dear and loving sister of Rosie, Jim, Harry and the late Willie, Daniel, Jon (Ugg), Alan and baby John. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Sheila will be reposing at her home, 13 Abbots Walk. Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday, 10th April at 9.20am to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 10.00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Her remains will be removed from W.J. O’Brien & Son, Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton on Thursday at 5.00pm to St. Mary’s Church, Limavady for Requiem Mass on Friday at 11o’clock. Thomas Quigley, 41 Thorndale, Ballyarnett, Derry
The death has taken place of the late Thomas Quigley, 8th April 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin hospital, beloved husband of Mary, dear brother of the late Mickey, Jeannie, Nellie, Tillie, Peggy and Hugh, cherished brother-in-law of the late Oscar and Joseph and much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Friends and family welcome to visit his home, 41 Thorndale, Ballyarnett, on Wednesday from 11.00am to 6.00pm. His remains will then be removed from there to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.00am. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him.
