Obituaries
The following deaths have occurred:-
Gabriel McCaul, De Glin Park, Claudy
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Gabriel McCaul, (peacefully) at Longfield Care Home on 14th March 2023, late of De Glin Park, Claudy, Co Derry. Beloved son of the late Susan and Tommy R.I.P. Loving brother of Kevin, Briege, Carmel, Tony, Brian, Cathal, Martin and the late Margaret and Gerry R.I.P. Deeply regretted by his sisters in law and brothers in law and the entire family circle. Reposing at his sister Carmel’s home, 16 Sheascan View, Foreglen, Co Derry. Wake house private. Funeral on Thursday, 16th March 2023 leaving his sisters home at 10.30am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Foreglen. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Sacred Heart of Jesus pray for him.
Annabel McColgan (née Burke), 5 Craigbrack Road, Eglinton
The death has taken place of Annabel McColgan (née Burke), 13th March 2023, beloved wife of the late John, 5 Craigbrack Road, Eglinton, loving mother of Liam and Rosemary, mother-in-law of Patricia and Martin, devoted grandmother of Ciaran, Aaron, Ryan, Ciara, Corey and Orla and dear sister of Patricia and the late Lizzie, Philomena, Mick, John, Jimmy and Bernie. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.30am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to Friends of Altnagelvin (Ward 50) C/o Mr Brian Moran, MDEC Unit, Altnagelvin Hospital, Glenshane Road, Derry, BT47 6SB. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
