The death has taken place of the late John Berryman Brown, 28th May 2024, (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital, in his 97th year, 10 Scotts Road, Loup, Moneymore, dearly beloved husband of the late Isobel, much loved and devoted father of Caroline, Jim and Mervyn, loving father-in-law of Pam and the late Peter, cherished grandfather of Colin, Jonathan, Jack and David and dearest brother of the late Jesse and Eva. House strictly private. Family and friends welcome in Garvin’s Funeral Home, 15 Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, BT45 6BP on Friday evening from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Funeral service in Saltersland Presbyterian Church on Saturday (June 1) at 2:00pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Mary Davies (née O'Kane), 11 Hyacinth Avenue, Ballykelly
The death has occurred of the late Mary Davies (née O'Kane), 27th May 2024, peacefully at home, beloved wife of the late Dennis, 11 Hyacinth Avenue, Ballykelly, loving mother of Bobby, Chris, Linda, Debbie and Wendy, much loved grandmother of Joanne, Naomi, Fiona, Ryan, Shannon, Louise, Faye and Niamh and dear sister of the late Frank and life long friend of Angela Mullan. Her remains will be reposing in her home. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.30am for 12o'clock Requiem Mass in St Finlough's Church, Ballykelly. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Charles (Charlie) Green, Greencastle (formerly Derry)
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Charles (Charlie) Green, peacefully at The Foyle Hospice on 28th May 2024. Late of Greencastle and formerly of 71 Glen Road. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Rosaleen. Devoted father of Alana and Richard. A much loved father-in-law of Joe and Ania. Loving granda of Karl, Ashleigh, Jodie, Alexa, Luke, Aaron and Nicole. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends. Charlie’s remains will be reposing at his daughter Alana's residence, 24 O'Donovan Road. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, 30th May at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Eugene's Cathedal. The death has taken place of the late Vincent Hynes, 28th May 2024, peacefully at his home, 19 Upper Galliagh Road, beloved husband of Nancy, loving father of Jacqueline, Kevin, Geraldine, Peter, David and the late Joan, much loved granda to his 13 grandchildren, dear son of the late Jack and Evelyn, cherished brother of Colette and the late Pearl, Jack, Patton, Gerald, Maurice, Gladys and Terence and a dear father-in-law and uncle. Loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Vincent will be reposing at his home on Wednesday from 10:00am to 11:00pm. The sudden death has taken place of Mary Ann Speirs (née Sweeney), died Sunday, 26th May, in Altnagelvin Hospital, wife of the late Jack and much loved mother of Christopher, Danny, Robert and Mary Ann and a very dear grandmother to her eight grandchildren and great grandchildren RIP. Late of 76 Mountfield Road, Claudy, Co Derry. Mary Ann will repose in her late home on Wednesday from 11.00am until 10.00pm. Funeral from her late home on Thursday at 10.30am to St Patrick’s Church, Claudy for 11.00am Requiem Mass. Cremation in Lakelands, Cavan will follow immediately.
