The following deaths have occurred:-
Mary Ann Harkin, 94 Elmgrove, Derry
The death has taken place of Mary Ann Harkin, 26th November 2023, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital RIP. Late of 94 Elmgrove. Dearly beloved wife of the late Bernard and Patrick. A much-loved Mother of Thomas, Ann, David, John, Sharon and Gerard. A loving and devoted Mother-in-law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. A funeral Mass will take in St Patricks Church, Pennyburn on Thursday, 30th November at 10.00am followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Olive McCarron (née Barr), 15 Dunmore Gardens, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Olive McCarron (née Barr), peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on 28th November 2023. Late of 15 Dunmore Gardens. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of Thomas. Devoted mother of Catherine and Clare. Loving grandmother of Keeley, Shane, Nicole, Aodhan and Thomas. A much loved mother-in-law of Mark and Thomas. Dearest sister of Liam and the late Mary. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends. Olive’s remains will be reposing at her late family residence, 15 Dunmore Gardens. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, 30th November at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Mary McCullagh (née McGuigan), 25 Moorside Villas, Desertmartin
The death has occurred of the late Mary McCullagh (née McGuigan) (Desertmartin), 28th November 2023, beloved wife of the late Dominic McCullagh and dear mother of Josephine O’Connor, Sean, Eugene, Patricia Eastwood and the late Rosemary McMullan and Eileen Mitchell, dear sister of Margaret McDade and the late Pat, Jim, Eileen, Joseph, Colm and Anna. Funeral from her home, 25 Moorside Villas, Desertmartin on Thursday, 30th November at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Keenaught, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, grandchildren great grandchildren, sister, nephews, nieces and large family circle. Family time please from 10.00pm to 11.00am.
Martin Mullan, 18 Glenrandel, Eglinton
The death has taken place of Martin Mullan, 27th November 2023, beloved son of Maureen and the late Tommy, 18 Glenrandel, Eglinton, loving brother of Stella, brother-in-law of Gerald and dear uncle of Sophie and Jessica. Martin will be reposing in his home on Wednesday from 12noon - 10.00pm. Funeral service there on Thursday at 2.00pm. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Tamnaherin. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Marie Curie. “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
