Elizabeth (Betty) Adams, 35 Agivey Road, Kilrea
The death has taken place of Elizabeth (Betty) Adams, 30th January 2024, (peacefully) at Causeway Hospital, 35 Agivey Road, Kilrea, dearly beloved wife of the late John and much loved mother of Joy and Joan. House and funeral strictly private. Lovingly remembered by her sorrowing daughters and the entire family circle. "In Thy presence is fulness of joy." Psalm 16 v 11
Patrick Burke, Dunvale House, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Patrick Burke, suddenly at his home on 30th January 2024. Late of Dunvale House and formerly of 16 Abbots Walk. May he rest in peace. Beloved son of Tommy and the late Ann. Devoted father of Bronagh and Thomas. Loving granda of Sean and Grace. A much loved brother of Jacqueline, Karen and Breige. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends. Patrick’s remains will be reposing at his sister Jacqueline's residence, 4 Ballymore Park from 11.30am today (Wednesday, 31st January. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 2nd February) at 9.20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Jim, dearly beloved partner of Lesley (and her family), brother of Gail, and uncle of John and the late Michael. The death has taken place of William (Wijam) McMenamin, 27th January 2024, at his home, 4G Lisfannon Park. Loving father of Cahir and Shea. Beloved son of Annie and Johnny boy. Much loved brother of John, Thomas, Bridgeen, Catherine, Thomas Phelan and Sean Phelan. Much loved uncle of Shannen, Lily-Mae and Mia. Dear Nephew of Kay and Ka. William will be leaving Carr Family Funeral Directors, 8 Abbey Park at 5pm today (Tuesday) to repose at his parents home, 61 Lisfannon Park. Funeral from his parents home on Thursday, 1st February at 11.20am to St Columba's Church, Longtower for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Laurence Mailey, Apartment 10, Rathain Fold, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Laurence Mailey, 29th January 2024, peacefully at Larne Care Unit, late of Apartment 10, Rathain Fold, dearly loved brother of Malachy and the late Mary, Bobby, Martha, James, Eileen, Tommy, Nora (Tootsie), Celine and Josie R.I.P. and a very dear brother in law and uncle. Devoted grandfather of Sony, Tony, Anu, Amal, Alan, Alma and great grand father to Ethan. Funeral will be take place at 3.00 pm (Indian time) Friday, 2nd February at St John’s Church, Kerala, India.
