Catherine Monica Duffy (née Quinn), 77 Glen Road, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of the late Catherine Monica Duffy (née Quinn), 3rd September 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Willie, loving mother of Isobel, Marie, Siobhan, Hugh, Karen, Pat and William, devoted nanny to Jonathan, William, Matthew, Patrick, Patrick, Anthony, Luke, Caitlin and Shannon and great-granddaughter Fiadh and a dear mother-in-law. loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle. Monica will be reposing at her home, 77 Glen Road on Wednesday, 4th September and Thursday from 12noon to 10:00pm. Funeral leaving her home on Friday, 6th September at 9:20am to St. Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
Colm Johnstone, 37 Longtower Court, Derry
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Colm Johnstone, suddenly at his home on 2nd September 2024. Late of 37 Longtower Court. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of Joanne. Loving father of Lee and Rhea. Devoted son of the late Collie and Rosemary. A much loved brother of Jonathan, Jean and Lillian. Precious grandson of the late Jean Hillen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends. Colm’s remains will be reposing at his wife Joanne’s residence, 25 Tamneymore Park. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, 5th September at 10:50am for 11:30am Requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Longtower. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery. Wake house will be private from 10.00pm until 10.00am. The house will also be private on the morning of Colm’s funeral. Anthony (Tony) Sydney Lee, Circular Road, Castlerock
The death has taken place of the late Anthony (Tony) Sydney Lee, 30th August 2024, peacefully at the Macmillan Unit, Antrim Area Hospital, late of Circular Road, Castlerock, dearly beloved husband of the late Liz, much-loved father of Peter and Chris, beloved father-in-law of Imogen and grandfather of Beth and Ginny. Funeral Service in Wades Funeral Home, Coleraine on Saturday, 14th September at 11.00am, followed by a Private Family Cremation at Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast. Family flowers only please. Teresa McClarnon (née McCoy), 10 Seaforth Aveune, Portstewart
The death has taken place of the late Teresa McClarnon (née McCoy), 2nd September 2024, peacefully at Causeway Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Edward and much-loved mother of Maire, devoted grandmother of Ronan and Emilia and Mother-in-law of Barney Bradley. Daughter of the late Ken and Mary and sister of Kevin, Tommy, Anne McAleese, Peadar and the late Alec, Bernie, Paddy and Jack. Funeral from her home, 10 Seaforth Aveune BT55 7LJ on Friday, 6th September at 10.20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart. Craig McDonald, Limavady
The death has taken place of the late Craig McDonald, passed away as a result of a tragic accident on 2nd September 2024. Much loved son and Step Son of Robin, Roisin and Michelle, loving Fiancé of Shauna also a Devoted Daddy. Dear brother of Leanne, Jodi, Brad, Amy and Reece. Dear nephew of Willis. Funeral service will be held in Browns Funeral Home on Friday at 2.00pm. Peter McDonald, 60 Leafair Park, Derry
The death has occurred of the late Peter McDonald, 3rd September 2024, peacefully at the Foyle Hospice, beloved husband of Julie, 60 Leafair Park, loving father of Ciara and Darren, father-in-law of Robbie and Louise, devoted grandfather of Aaron, Haileigh, Niamh, Darragh and Ethan and a much loved brother. His remains will be reposing in his home. Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.25am for 10o’clock Requiem Mass in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.
