Hugh Barry Barr M.B.E., 16 Knockaduff Road, Aghadowey
The death has occurred of Hugh Barry Barr M.B.E., (peacefully) at home, 16 Knockaduff Road, Aghadowey. Dearly loved husband of Kathleen, much loved father of Jane, Barrie, Sam, Liz, Gladys, Kaye and the late John, father-in-law of Jacqui, Judy, Iain and Lloyd and a dear grandfather and great-grandfather. Service of thanksgiving in Ballylaggan Reformed Presbyterian Church on Saturday, 10th June 2023 at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please. The death has taken place of Bernadette (Bernie) Higgins (née O’Neill), 4th June 2023, beloved wife of Vincent and loving mother of Ciara (Curran), Laura (O’Neill), Michael, Niall, Cathal and Ryan, sister of Martin, Lena, Eddie John, Francie, Rosie, Patricia (McVey), Paddy Joe, Briege and Christopher. Funeral from her home, 46 Sperrin Drive, on Thursday, 8th June at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of our Lady of the Assumption via webcam at Webcam – Magherafelt Parish, interment afterwards in cemetery at Church of St John Milltown. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughters, sons in law Stephen and Kevin, daughters in law Catriona, Siobhan and Alex, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle. Family time from 11.00pm to 11.00am.
Margaret Elizabeth (Lizzie) Kennedy (née Gibson), 717 Farranseer Park, Macosquin, Coleraine
The death has taken place of Margaret Elizabeth (Lizzie) Kennedy (née Gibson), 5th June 2023, (peacefully) after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family) in MAU, Causeway Hospital, 717 Farranseer Park, Macosquin, Coleraine, devoted wife of the late Harry (RIP), much loved mother of Valerie, Harry, Lorna and the late Caroline and David (RIP), loving mother-In-Law of Eric, Alan and Hazel and an adored grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral from her home on Thursday at 12.30pm for a Service of Thanksgiving for her life in St. Mary’s Church Of Ireland, Macosquin at 1.00pm followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard. House strictly private by request. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired for Parish of Camus Juxta Bann c/o Mrs Mona Murdock, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine.
