Hughie Archer, 34 Rosemary Place, Coleraine
The death has occurred of Hughie Archer, March 11 2025, (suddenly) at his home, 34 Rosemary Place, Coleraine, dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret, loving father of the late Louise, grandfather of the late Gavin, son of the late May and Barney and a beloved brother and uncle. Service in Murdock’s Funeral Home, 2a Windsor Avenue, Coleraine on Friday at 11.30am followed by cremation at Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast at 2.00pm. House Private. Family flowers only please, donations lieu if desired for Motor Neurone Disease Association c/o Ivan Murdock and Sons, 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine. Deeply regretted by his loving family and entire family circle.
Mary Bartram (née McGuinness), Birmingham (formerly Ballerin)
Funeral arrangements for the late Mary Bartram (née McGuinness), died February 6 2025, late of Suttoncoldfield, Birmingham and formerly Ballerin, Co.Derry, wife of the late Derek Bartram. Daughter of the late James & Mary McGuiness and loving sister of the late Willie, Jimmy, Margaret, Bridget, Patrick, Charlie, Kathleen, Martha and Rose. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 14 2025 at 11.00am in St. Mary’s Church, Ballerin. (Mass will be broadcast live on the parish website www.errigalparish.com/media.html). Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her. Deeply regretted by the entire McGuiness family circle.
James Donaghy, 31 Station Road, Eglinton
The death has taken place of the late James Donaghy, March 10 2025, beloved husband of Margaret, 31 Station Road, Eglinton, loving father of Monica, Pauline, Jean, Henry, Angela and Aaron, a devoted grandfather and dear brother of the late Arthur, John, Rose, Eileen, Margaret and Patrick. His remains will be reposing in his home on Wednesday from 12noon – 10.00pm. Funeral from there on Thursday at 11.25 m for 12o’clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donation in lieu of flowers, if wished, to St Vincent de Paul. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
Edward (Eddie) Grieve, Maghera (formerly Mulderg Cottages, Claudy)
The death has taken place of the late Edward (Eddie) Grieve, March 10 2025, Maghera (Formerly Mulderg Cottages, Claudy), suddenly but peacefully. Much loved father of Lisa and Ryan. Dearly beloved partner of Bridgeen. Son of the late Patrick and Mary Grieve. Devoted brother of Anne Kelly, Joe, Margaret Donoghue, John, George, Angela and the late Mary Lavelle and Bernie Myles. Dear stepfather of Mark, Danielle, Jamie-Lee, Anthony and Kiara. Also a loving grandfather. Family time from 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral arrangements later. No Flowers please. We regret to inform you that the death has occurred of James Hanna, March 10 2025, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital and late of Edenvale Care Home, Limavady. Beloved husband of the late Lila R.I.P. Loving father of Gerald (Angela), Adrian (Susan), and Caroline (Martin). A much loved grandfather of Paul, Mark, Rachael, Conor, Amy, Ryan, Adam and great-grandfather of Lila and Finn. Deeply regretted by all the family circle. James is reposing at his son Adrian’s home, 82 Castle Park, Limavady. Family time from 10.00pm to 11.00am please. And Lillie B., late of 7 Harvey Hill Road, Kilrea and Brother of Lorna, Pat, Freddie and the late Johnnie and Lillian. A Service of Committal will take place in Killelagh Parish Churchyard, Swatragh on Thursday, March 13 at 1:00pm. Lovingly remembered by the entire Family Circle. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” John 5 v 24

The death has taken place of Kathleen O’Kane (née McKenna) (Lavey), March 11 2025, beloved wife of the late Daniel Patrick and loving mother of Kevin, Donal, Noeleen, Marie Therese and the late Raymond, dear sister of John Joe and the late Brian and Josie.
