Derry eatery shortlisted for Best Italian Restaurant in upcoming awards

The finalists for Northern Ireland's Third Annual Food Awards 2018 have been announced and the popular Derry eatery Spaghetti Junction has been nominated in the Best Italian Restaurant category.

Manager Alison Canney said: "I am delighted we have been nominated, it is testimony to the hard work of all our staff, and we work tirelessly to bring our customers a unique atmosphere and authentic Italian dishes."

The lavish, black-tie awards ceremony is due to be held on June 4,  at The Crowne Plaza Hotel Belfast, which will include three-course meal and entertainment and promises to be the biggest night in the food calendar.

The awards aim to recognize and reward the best of the food industry from those who produce the ingredients to those who serve it including restaurants, takeaways, hotels, cafés and bistros amongst others.
