Derry firefighter remembered at charity indoor cricket match

Amanda Scanlon pictured presenting Sister Devine from Altnagelvin’s Neo-Natal Unit with a cheque for £500.

The money was the proceeds of a charity indoor cricket match, quiz and BBQ at Bready Cricket Club.

Serving and retired firefighters from Crescent Link, Northland and Strabane Fire Stations participated in the event.

Amanda presented a shield to the eventual winners, Strabane, in memory of her late father Ken Stewart who served at Northland Fire Station.

Pictured at the donation are Neo-Natal Ward Sister Bridie Devine, Crescent Link Fire Station Crew Commander Ronnie Watson, Amanda Scanlon, Crescent Link Watch Commander Jonathon Dunn and Nursery Nurse Leanne Smyth.
