Derry man appears before court charged with series of drug offences

A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court today on a series of drug charges.

Ryan Doherty (21) of Clon Elagh in Derry appeared charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, cannabis and Pregablin on dates between May 17, 2022 and October 10, 2022.

He was also charged with offering to supply cocaine and cannabis on the same dates as well as a charge of possessing criminal property. 

A police officer connected the accused to the charges. 

The court heard that Doherty was already in custody on other matters and there was no application for bail. 

Doherty was remanded in custody to appear again on October 26.
