Derry man charged with attempting to commit grievous bodily harm returned for trial

Sean Paul Breen (30) of Marianus Park in Derry was charged with attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm on a male with intent on May 22. 2021. He also faced a charge of common assault against the same person on the same date.
A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a charge of attempting to commit grievous bodily harm.
Sean Paul Breen (30) of Marianus Park in Derry appeared at a Preliminary Enquiry at the local Magistrate’s Court.
He was charged with attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm on a male with intent on May 22. 2021.
He also faced a charge of common assault against the same person on the same date.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Been was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on December 11.
