Derry man jailed for exposing himself to two nurses

A man has been jailed at Derry Magistrates Court for exposing himself to two nurses just after Christmas last year.
John Straghan (35) of Clooney Road in Derry was charged with the offences that occurred on December 27 last year in Gransha hospital.
Straghan was a patient at the time and had a dispute with the nurses before exposing his genitals to them.
District Judge Barney McElholm said that on reading the papers in the case he was satisfied that the offence had occurred.
A defense barrister, Damien Halleron said that Straghan had been in custody since the offence occurred and District Judge Barney McElhom noted that he had no similar offences on his record.
He was sentenced to five months in custody.
