Derry man to face trial on a series of driving charges

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of driving charges.

Joseph McMullan (34) of Kavanagh Court in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.

He faces two charges one of dangerous driving on October 1 2022 and another of driving while disqualified on the same date. 

It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions. 

McMullan said he did not want to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage. 

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on September 7 and released on bail.
