Derry man who damaged apartment block door fined

A man has appeared at Derry Magistrates Court charged with criminal damage after damaging the door of an apartment block.
Conor Brown (28) of Bayview Terrace kicked the door of Bayview Court apartments on April 20 this year.
CCTV identified Brown as the perpetrator and he made full admissions to police when interviewed.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said that it was a 'moment of madness', adding that Brown was still living in the apartment block following the incident.
He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a compensation order of £717.41.
