With football fever sweeping across the North West, Translink was joined by Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Cllr Grace Uí Niallaisis, to encourage families, friends and solo adventurers to kick-off their summer travels using public transport and make the most of great-value fares for days out across the region.
A free, family-friendly event was also recently held at Guildhall Square, featuring football-themed games and activities for all ages, including fast feet, table football and fun giveaways.
Making summer travel accessible for all, the £24 Family & Friends ticket offers unlimited day travel on bus and rail for up to two adults and four children, while the £10 Bus Rambler covers unlimited travel after 9.15am on Ulsterbus, Goldliner, Metro and Glider services.
All-day Metro travel in Belfast is available for £4, with late night Metro services operating from midnight until 2am every Friday and Saturday night.
