Derry to host zombie dance world record attempt

Derry will be invaded by zombies tomorrow night when the city will host a world record dance attempt

The “Dance for the World Record,” taking place in Guildhall Square at 7.00, will be a charity fundraiser for Foyle Women’s Aid.

A spokesperson for the charity said: “We will be having a flashmob of zombies dancing to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ to raise awareness of our organisation and to kick off the Halloween celebrations in the city.

“The participants have practiced for several weeks and are looking forward to showcasing their dance.”

You, too, can join in the fun.

All you have to is register at the Angry Cherry on Foyle Street (adults £5, children £3).
