Hannah Duddy (29) of Rockmills in Derry was arrested on October 9 after police attended her flat following concerns about her safety
A woman has appeared at Derry Magistrates Court charged with breaching her bail conditions, assaulting police and attempted criminal damage.
Hannah Duddy (29) of Rockmills in Derry was arrested on October 9 after police attended her flat following concerns about her safety.
When they arrived, police suspected Duddy to be 'extremely intoxicated' and asked her to provide a breath sample.
Following four unsuccessful attempts, police arrested her and the court heard she began to kick the officer and the police car.
Defense Barrister Sinead Rogan said that Duddy did not accept that she was intoxicated, telling the court that the medication she is on sometimes makes it appear that she is.
Deputy District Judge Philip Mateer called it a 'hopeless' bail application, denying release.
She will appear again on October 22.
