Derry woman in court after bail address breach

Michaela Shields (37) tells court she moved out to avoid further police trouble
A woman has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court following a breach of her bail conditions.
Michaela Shields (37) of Circular Road in Derry had been on bail for charges including assault and residing at an address that had been approved by police but, according to defence solicitor Keith Kyle, had removed herself as 'it was becoming a party house' and she wanted to avoid any more trouble with the police.
He added that, aside from this, Shields had been abiding by her bail conditions and was seeking help for her addiction issues.
She was again released on bail and will appear again on August 27.
