Derrys GetFed Foods has announced its closure

GetFed Foods has announced it has taken the ‘hard decision’ to close.

The shutters on Carlisle Road have not been lifted since the news was posted on its Facebook page on August 11.

The post said: “Not a post I ever wanted to do, but GetFed Foods will no longer be open.

“There is only so much you can do to keep going.

“If you know me well enough, it takes a lot for me to be defeated, but I can hand on heart say I gave it my all and a whole lot more.

“I want to thank you and tell you how much I appreciate every single person I have met, served, worked with, fought with, and gave free abuse, aw I mean advice to lol you were all amazing.

“To the team of girls who I couldn't have done anything without, you's are the best.”
