A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court charged with rape following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrates Court.
Kieran Lynch (59) of Carrickmore, St Johnston in County Donegal was charged with raping a woman on December 31 last year.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Lynch chose not to call any witnesses and not to make any statements.
He was returned for trial and will appear at Derry Crown Court on November 4 and released on bail.
