Exclusive: X Factor judge Louis Walsh is coming to Derry next week

X Factor star Louis Walsh is coming to Derry next week, writes Gareth Cross

The judge on the hit TV show will be at the North West Regional College (NWRC) on September 17 to speak about his career in the music industry.

The legendary entertainment manager and television personality will host a master class on his life and career to budding musicians at NWRC.

As well as X Factor, Walsh, who is 62, is also famous for managing boy bands like Boyzone and Westlife.

Under his tutelage Walsh’s acts have sold more than 50 million records worldwide and he is sure to have plenty of life experience and advice to impart.

Walsh is no stranger to working with Derry musicians having managed Girls Aloud who featured Derry girl Nadine Coyle to victory in the 2002 ITV series ‘Popstars: The Rivals.’
