General Election 2024: Possible recount in DUP stronghold constituency East Derry

Rumours have arised about a possible recount for the East Derry Westminster seat.
Throughout the night there had been talk within the DUP that the vote was tight in the constituency.
Rumours about a possible recount have come from sources in the TUV and UUP camps at the count in Magherafelt.
The DUP had held the seat since 2001, with its holder since then being Gregory Campbell.
But as the night progressed rumours started to swirl that the vote was incredibly tight between Sinn Fein and the DUP.
The East Derry seat has always been held by a unionist party but Kathleen McGurk may throw a spanner in the works and become the first nationalist to hold the seat.
