The team at Harry's Bridgend have thanked customers after closing their restaurant yesterday following almost 27 years in business.

"We'd like to thank our loyal customers, without you we wouldn't be the success we are today," said a representative.

Harry's Bridgend was opening on Sundays only in recent months after the team opened another venue in Derry's Craft Village.

They also run Harry's Shack on Portstewart Beach.

Harry's Restaurant was consistently named as one of the best restaurants in Donegal and was often named in the McKenna Guide despite missing out in 2017.

The restaurant was recently named as the Best Restaurant in Donegal at the Irish Restaurant Awards Ulster regional event, which took place in The Guildhall in Derry on March 15th.
