A delightfully heart-warming Christmas advert produced by the iconic Bentley Bar, located on Market Street in Derry, has sent waves across the county.
The advert centres around two grieving men, portrayed by local actors, who form a unique bond at Christmas time after meeting in a pub.
The stunning short film features shots from the streets of Derry, Hen's Den, which is part of The Bentley Bar, and The Gate Bistro and Cocktail Bar, located in Ferryquay.
Along with the ad comes an emotional but honest message, that Christmas can be a lonely and difficult time for some, particularly those who are grief stricken.
The short film was shot by Nathan Edgar, a BBC assistant content producer, and Sean Rice, a videographer and supervisor in The Bentley Bar.
The emotional advert concluded with the message, "This Christmas, let's remember those we've lost. Reach out to someone who might be struggling. Sometimes, just being there makes all the difference."
The touching advert has amassed over 300,000 views across their social media platforms and serves as a reminder that for some, this isn't always the happiest time of the year.
Many viewers took to Facebook to share their reactions to the short film.
One commenter said, "This is so powerful, brilliant work everyone."
While another stated, "What an amazing video, nice to watch, let people see how it's nice to just be there for someone who is struggling, especially at this time of year. Derry people are friendly, I hope this video helps people to see how big a difference you can make to just be there."
