George’s Bar on Derry's Bishop Street recently held a charity night to raise funds to purchase a defibrillator for Alexander House. With live music and spot prizes on the night, they successfully raised £2,000 for the life-saving equipment. Alexander House, also located on Bishop Street, provides sheltered accommodation and Housing with Care for people aged over 60; it is owned and managed by Apex Housing Association.
