Racing into the sea at Redcastle in Memory of Adrian Harkin. A keen adventurer, Adrian, passed away from motor neurone disease in July, aged 54. He once owned Inish Adventures and did a fundraising drive for the Summit 2 Sea charity challenge last year which saw over €70,000 raised for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, which was also the benefitting charity of the New Year swim. Adrian was married to Sharon and father of Kayleigh and Jessica and stepfather of Ryan and Leanne.
