JOB OF THE DAY: Derry's Seagate seeking Facilities Technician Assistant
The successful candidate will work 12 hours shifts across Monday to Sunday (4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern).
Reporting to the Facilities Technician Manager, the Facilities Technician Assistant will meet the needs of the internal customer with responsibility for the upkeep of the Springtown site buildings, fixtures and fittings, furniture and the supervision of building maintenance contractors. This will also involve preventative maintenance and repairs inclusive of class 5 Cleanrooms.
Applicants must possess at least 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grade C or above, combined with at least two years relevant experience. Preference may be given to candidates with maintenance experience in a large complex building.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving skills combined with a high level of attention to detail in their work practices and the ability to meet deadlines.
