Liam Grant ready for the spotlight at Derry showcase
The Strike Academy fighter brings a relentless style and world class experience to the ring
Fighting out of Strike martial arts academy Derry Liam Grant will step into the spotlight on Saturday, May 23, as he challenges for the 4 Nations K1 Title at the Everglades Hotel, Derry.
Grant has earned a reputation for his relentless style and sharp striking, and now faces the biggest test of his career against Guyvin Dawkins.
Backed by a strong travelling support from Buncrana, Grant will look to rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage after an intense and focused training camp.
“This is a massive opportunity for Liam and one he’s fully prepared for. The work he’s put in has been second to none, and the support behind him has been incredible. That will drive him on the night.”
This would be a huge title to add to Liam’s growing list of achievements, which already includes: 3x ISKA All Ireland Champion, Gold European Champion and Bronze World Medalist.
Tickets are £25 and are available from Liam, the club, and any family member.
We are also looking to run a bus to Derry and back on the night anyone interested is asked to contact Liam or Kirsty so numbers can be arranged.
With doors opening at 6.00pm and a packed crowd expected, Grant will be aiming to make it a night to remember by bringing the 4 Nations K1 Title back to club.
