Motorists appears in court in relation to assault in Derry City & Strabane policing area in 2015

Police in Belfast stopped a vehicle along the A1 Dual Carriageway at Sprucefield yesterday morning.

The driver of the vehicle, a resident of the Republic Of Ireland, was arrested as they had previously failed to attend court in relation to an assault in the Derry City & Strabane policing area in 2015.

The male driver was transferred direct to court where they were dealt with by a local Magistrate.
