Mulligan's Tractor and Truck Run took place on Sunday, September 3 gathering over 300 tractors and lorries.

This year's run was to raise vital funds for Tourettes Support NI.

Tourette's Support NI is made up of volunteers who are parents of children with Tourette's and adults with Tourette's Syndrome.

They currently provide training for parents, schools, businesses and organisations to raise awareness.

They have a very busy whatsapp support group with 50+ families NI wide, hold face-to-face support groups in various locations including the community hub in Draperstown and provide information packs.

The organisation also have a direct advice line and provide days out for families who are otherwise very isolated.

On the day of the run, there were street collections in the various towns where the tractor and truck run passed through, which raised £1,730. This amount is included in the final total.

On Saturday night (October 14), the committee of Mulligan's Tractor and Truck Run were delighted to hand over £22,000 to the charity.

A spokesperson for the organising committee said: “We would like to thank our sponsors for all the support this year and to everyone who has supported our events throughout the year and turned out to support us on the big day and the cheque presentation night.”
