New chapter for Bonds Street Community Association
Bonds Street Community Association is celebrating a significant milestone with the opening of its new office, giving the community a place to call its own after 25 years.
The office offers a welcoming space where residents can access support, advice and information, or simply drop in for a chat about issues affecting them. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, with plans to extend these as more local volunteers become involved.
Serving Bonds Street and surrounding neighbourhoods, the new premises will strengthen the association’s work in an area facing significant social and economic disadvantage. Having a dedicated local base will help residents access services, connect with others and get involved in community life.
Details of forthcoming activities, events, classes and community programmes will be available through the office and the association’s Facebook page in the coming weeks.
