People Before Profit Foyle candidate Shaun Harkin casts his ballot
Voters urged to use their vote in today's general election
People Before Profit Foyle candidate Shaun Harkin has urged the people of Derry to vote in today's general election.
Cllr Shaun Harkin said: "I'm urging people across Foyle to come out and vote today for change.
"People in Derry had to struggle for the right to vote. Your vote is your voice, don't lose it.
"Those in power want people who are most frustrated at the status quo to stay at home.
"Don't allow anyone to tell you your vote is wasted."
