Granaghan and District Women's Group in Swatragh organised another hugely enjoyable Kids’ Jumping Clay workshop, last Saturday afternoon, December 14.
Twenty six children, (15 girls and 11 boys) were lucky to get a place this time around and, under the expert guidance of Pauline Welsh and her helper, Connie, the children all created a fabulous Christmas penguin model.
The local women's group would like to thank committee members Deirdre, Annie, Ann, Shauna and Roisin and, and mum Kelly, who stayed to help out on the day. This was the fourth and final Kids’ Jumping Clay workshop of 2024 and each and every one of them was immensely enjoyable.
The workshop was the last activity in a very busy and successful year for Granaghan and District Women’s Group, a year in which they celebrated 30 years in existence with a massive celebration on June 11 and delivered almost 200 activities.
The women’s group would like to thank Brockaghboy Windfarm for supporting this annual activity and to wish everyone a happy and peaceful Christmas.
The women’s group have a very impressive tranche of activities arranged for early 2025 and look forward to seeing all their friends in the new year.
