Police have urged motorists to consider where they park along a busy Derry road.
The PSNI issued the appeal after a number of concerns have been raised about parking along Fahan Street in the Bogside area.
In a statement on its Facebook page, police in Derry said parking along footpaths increases the risk of accidents for pedestrians and motorists.
The statement reads: "Our Foyleside and The Moor Neighbourhood Policing Team officers have responded to concerns in the Fahan Street and surrounding area in the city in relation to parking. As you can see from photos taken in the last few days, there are vehicles parked on footpaths.

"We’re asking drivers to really think about the impact of their actions, and that’s whether you live in the area, or if you're visiting someone who lives locally, or you're in the area for another reason. Park legally and safely, and be considerate of residents and others, and do not park your vehicle in a way that causes an obstruction.
"We understand people want to park where it’s convenient but, as with all parking, this must be done in a safe and legal way.
Officers have issued advice and guidance to offending drivers to remind them about parking legally and safely, and, we’ll continue with this approach. We’ll also take enforcement action, issuing tickets, where appropriate."
